That we have a different kind of cold here. A damp cold. I go back to THE coldest I have EVER been....The 1983 Gator Bowl. Florida played Iowa. By the 4th quarter, it was very similar to what we have now....30-32 with wind chill of 15. Fast forward a couple of years, when I was in USAF Fire School at Chanute AFB, Ill, we had wind chills as low as -10. But I still did not feel as cold as that Gator Bowl. Granted, I was much better prepared in Illinois but still.
Already....This has to be maybe the coldest Winter in Jacksonville since around 1983. We have had about two straight weeks of chilly / cold weather when we USUALLY will have 1-3 days with 70s and 80s for 1-2 weeks. Hasn't been what I'd call warm / or hot since early December.
