Just read this morning that they're inviting fans to come to the HS at 4pm Friday for a pregame send-off to the team. This will be a short trip... about 15 miles. Much better than the 88 mile trip this last Friday. Not sure how my daughter distributes the pickles... maybe at the HS before boarding the bus? Maybe in the locker room when they arrive at the field? She has a game pass so she's allowed full access just like the coaches.

About sweet pickles. For nearly my entire life I detested sweet pickles. Since taste can change as you age I tried sweet pickles every so often but I could never stand them... UNTIL - -

Only a year or 2 ago I found that I liked them... BUT ONLY on a Tuna sandwich. Go figure! So I put them on tuna now but even the thought of eating a sweet pickle by itself makes me nauseous.

I like all foods, literally, except sweet pickles and buttermilk. But I have not tried buttermilk in many years... so today who knows? - JamesJM
