Pville is a good stretch from your part of the world. About 30 miles east of us. Used to be in our league and they were always among the best teams. When I played they had a 230 lb FB/MLB named Steve Brown who went on to Oregon St and was drafted by the Rams. He was a man among boys in high school. Bigger than almost all of our linemen. Bad knees kept from having much of a NFL career.

Did your cruise through my town on the way to Porterville or did you take a turnoff near Tipton? I would have suggested the Tulare route.
