I remember my senior year of H.S. our team as involved in a big brawl. The town where I went to H.S. was and still is about 90% white. We had one African American player on the team and we played a Seattle team that was predominantly African American and I guess they said some things our player that set him off. They finished the game but it was big local news for a while.
Only time I've ever been close to something like that was in 1990 at a Seattle Thunderbirds game. I was setting just out of frame to the right of this video.
