Identity vs role confusion ....and boom
Coached youth all star soccer for years up to U20.....had many players fight or get into it. I never promoted that and would get blamed as a coach for sometimes poor behavior, but it is built in to male teens....I had a girls coach chew me out once when one of my players exhibited poor behavior on the field
I told him coaching girls and boys completely different....throw in a difficult home life for this poor kid and there are all sorts of variables at play
I coached a really athletic kid who was good but he was in a special day class and struggled with strategy....always fouled kids becuase he was out of position catching up
