No more Pac 12
the fact that USC and UCLA are now in the same conference as Iowa and Minnesota still makes my head explode every time I think of it
between the transfer portal and the NIL money , it's just going to get worse , at least the NFL has a salary cap , as of now the NCAA doesn't
think about this , Arch Manning as a back up at the University of Texas made 2.5 million dollars , while Brock Purdy , in his second year as a starter for the 49ers made 850 thousand
and now we have Florida State going to court with the ACC and ESPN
if Florida State is successful in getting out of the ACC , watch out , because North Carolina , Clemson and Miami , will be right behind them
TV money is what's pushing this , with The University of Florida making close to 80 million a year in the SEC , and Florida State only making about 30 million a year in the ACC , in a ten year span , thats a half a billion more that Florida made compared to Florida State
if Florida State does get out of the ACC , I expect they'll end up in the Big Ten as well , there will be just to much bad blood between Florida State and the SEC/ ESPN
I don't think the Big Ten actually wants Florida State , but I think FOX / CBS will say , oh yes you do , FOX would kill to get their feet into SEC country
so I still think there are more big changes are coming
I could actually see a time where the top 60-80 schools just simply break away from the NCAA
