it's in the , Holy Crap !!! range
it got to the point , where I couldn't really see much of anything with my left eye , just a blur , close up , far away , didn't matter , same blur
and now
just twenty-four hours later.......
I can see !!! , actually I could see pretty good right out of the operating room , even with my eye still being fully dilated
, it's still a tad bit blurry , they said it'll take a couple weeks for that to go away completely , as your eye still has some swelling , but it'll probably never be 20/20 , I'll still need glasses
but yea , it's pretty amazing how much better I can see out of that eye now
I've always worn glasses , since grade school
one thing they never mention , but I kinda figured on my own , over the last couple years , I've had to get new eye glasses prescription to account for a worsening cataract
so after the surgery , my current glasses where way to strong , I could no longer see out of them , at least in the left eye , so when I got home yesterday , I had to dig out an old pair of glasses I wore a few years ago
I'll have to go in , in about a month from now once my eye has fully healed , and get a new glasses prescription , so even with the new eye lens , I'll still need to wear glasses to correct , my nearsightedness , or farsightedness , which ever it is
but yea , even without my glasses , I can see pretty darn good , right now , not 20/20...................but...............not bad at all
there was a couple little things going on , I've had this cataract for two years , so your brain kinda just adapts to using your right eye more , so last night , I noticed , I had a little double vision in my left eye , as my brain starts to retrain to using my left eye now as well , but that seems to be gone away now as well
and colors , when you get a cataract , colors get dull , kinda of a smokey color , like a car head lights that starts to get that smokey dirty film on them , but when they stick in that brand new lens , holy crap , those colors just pop now
