but that’s coming from the respective of a vehicle driver. As both a cyclist (11 speed bike, not a motorcycle) I am aware that potholes in a vehicle and potholes on a bike are different animals. That said, when I ride my bike on the sections of the Trans-Canada around where I live, it is usually in good shape. As a driver the concerns are more about the corners and lack of paved shoulders in some places. Of course, these concerns intensify with winter driving conditions which can exist for half of the year where I live. Every summer that we take a long trip along the Trans-Canada we always see quite a few motorcyclists. In fact driving our daughter to university this year, we were behind a huge group of around 20 to 30 of them at one point.
