My 12th Grade English Teacher spent an ENTIRE week on Chaucer??? WHOOOOOO CARES??? That served ZERO purpose with me reading or writing better. NOW....If you enjoy it and want to further study it? That's awesome. But to most, it's just filler and a huge waste of time.
