TV and games are educating kids at home now. We hit reading and writing hard when I was young. My Mom always read to me till I was maybe 6-7 years old. I was taught proper English. I just never figured out the reasoning behind knowing Nouns and Verbs. I learned to say a sentence and then to write them. I get punctuation and spelling but Nouns...Verbs and sentence break downs?? Nah.
