who wish stuff was the same 50 yrs ago.
Today kids don't need to go outside the home and face to face with other kids. First of all there aren't that many other kids their age out there. People are transitional today, meaning they move and don't stay in one neighborhood long. Besides kids today "interact" with their buddies on sky box, or whatever hookup they have on their TV where they don't have to leave their home -and be safe from all those that wiil do harm to them as soon as they open their front door.
I know this sounds sad-at least to me-but its a product of an extremely over populated world that has produced fear and anxiety amongst parents and even the kids themselves. One only needs to watch the local news to see what dangers are on our doorsteps
We have "learned" to value risk free environments. I'm just not sure that's all that healthy.
