I've lived in my house since 1994. All the kids in my neighborhood who were kids when we moved here have grown up and moved away. Most of our neighborhood now consists of senior citizens and hardly any kids around at all. There are 9 houses on my street. Two of the houses have kids in them. One has One of the houses has two elementary school age kids who are NEVER outside except for when they're dad walks them one block to the school bus. The other kids lives right next door. She's about 13 now. When they first moved in, she was about 8 yr old and you'd never see her outside. You wouldn't even know a kid lived in that house. She still never goes outside.
