Ah.. the Sheppard Senators......

Softball team here at Sheppard AFB.. I had to play them a couple of times, over the years, when I worked at another facility.. Every dude in their lineup hit balls over the fence.. they got PO'd if every time they swung the bat it didn't go over the fence.. More than one occasion I saw them run rule other teams in the first inning.. I guess that's how things go when plants, like mine, had to scrape together enough guys to play and the Sheppard Senators only played the top 10-15 guys picked out of 20,000 people at Sheppard - and guys transferred here to Sheppard strictly for their softball abilities..
