My Son has been trying to enter the US Navy for 3 years and almost 9 months. MEPS has put him through hell. I told him tonight....ENOUGH!!! Tomorrow, the gloves come off. I told him to call his Recruiter, ASAP, first thing and TELL them you want NAMES, as to who at MEPS is "handling" things. I have never seen such a CLUSTER F*** in my life. I also intend to e mail the Lt Commander at MEPS, who I chatted with back in December.
My Son, during his first exam back in Sept 2019, had a funky heart beat (That I have!!), that is not a threat. THREE follow ups with a Cardiologist, one sonogram and one CT scan, cleared everything. They have asked for paper work that he has had to produce 2...3.....FOUR times. And EVERY transaction takes 1-2 months for any action. He had one Recruiter go with him to every Dr he has seen and personally retrieved EVERY piece of documentation.
Tomorrow, I'm giving my Son a chance to make a stand. If he gets the same Circus, I'M stepping in with both guns firing.
