Yesterday, I sensed dejection. I had to pep him up. The guy has wanted to be in the Navy since he was 8 or 9. When he was 5 years old, he could tell you the Battleships in Pearl Harbor on Dec7th. I told him yesterday......ENOUGH with Mr Nice Guy. Time to start being a pain in THEIR ass. I told him to ask for names at MEPS. If the Recruiters won't give them out, call MEPS himself. This is INEPTNESS that SHOULD get somebody fired!
Too bad MEPS Facilities are no longer open facilities or I'd go down there myself. MEPS is THE problem. But in all honesty, NAVY Recruiting is lame as hell these days. NOBODY wants to dig for answers. My Son's main Recruiter is a Petty Officer. I told him, through her (Chain of Command) insist that she gets him in contact with the top person at the local level.
