I can see 2-4 beats, but 30 beats is like playing the song twice as fast.. or half speed.. That's NUTS..
All the recording I've been doing has been with drums I program and, being midi based, I can change the speed easily without changing the pitch.. but, its absolutely perfect timing.. the studio I wanna go to in Dallas requires you to play to a click track so if you screw the chorus up, for example, up they can copy/paste another chorus in its place.. So, i'll need to get used to playing with headphones.. I currently run direct, so don't hafta use headphones for anything I record..
