Jimmy, thought you might get a kick out of this..

Big blowup with Motley Crue lately after firing Mick Mars, the guitarist.. The idiot Nikki Sixx claimed Mick couldn't play anymore and Mick claims all of Sixx's bass notes were recorded and he never played one note on the last tour..

Anyways, somebody just dropped this in ear monitor mix for Mick Mars on the last tour and I found it interesting.. For one. he and I pretty much prefer the same monitor mix: loud guitar and (for me) snare drum only.. This is a full length click track that everyone is playing to, but wha tI found interesting was the added "instructions" that are given during breaks and count ins and whatnot.. I wouldn't think a band playing the world for 50 years would need instructions and count downs etc, but I guess they do..

Anyways, sounds like Mars pretty much plays everything properly - a little sloppy, at times, but he's probably the cleanest player in the band.. One thing is for certain: Vince Neil sings like a bag of out of tune cats..
