Need to say... I'm aware you guys couldn't give a flying rat's patootie about these photos... S'ok.
It's a big deal to me.
Syd went to Ely today, (town in England). Nice Cathedral... went there myself, couple of times. Sydney is loving this.. BUT....
not what I'm posting about. Syd has that something I have but few others do... the big things... like this Cathedral, or the Coliseum in Rome, or the canals in Venice, or the Eiffel Tower? You bet, magnificent... but every day stuff?
Syd walked to the Sainsbury today, (that's one of the major grocery store chains in England), and I think she may love it there as much as the Ely Cathedral if not MORE? It's every day life, but life that's very different than here. It's where you touch base with actual life outside the USA.
She has made a few friends in England...most of them USA Citizens but get this... they have never been to the USA. They have as many question for her as she has for them.
Their parents have worked for the USA all their lives, as USA citizens but never having been here. I know, weird.
Anyway, I think sending Syd on this European trip is the very best money I've ever spent in my life. - JamesJM
