Sports, hard choice tonight.....

I got NFHS network for the month... they stream High School games across the nation. Tonight there are two match ups I want to see:
First.. Ripon, who just knocked us off in the State Playoffs and whose players average 6' 23" tall will take on a local small school.... Sierra... gotta pull for Sierra... not because Ripon beat us but because Sierra is small school, overachieving, and somewhat local.
Secondly... perhaps the most overachieving team in the nation. The Caruther's Girls basketball team. Caruthers, for those of you who don't know and none of you do, is a tiny farming community very near my home town. These girl's have been together since kindergarten and they are fantastic. They take on Colfax, whom I knew NOTHING about... north of Sacramento and a population of 2,000. About the same size as Caruther's. How in the hell two small towns managed to make the final game in the state of Calif. is beyond me.
So the boys start at 6 and girls at 7. So at worst I'll see the last of the girl's game but I'm thinking.... that's the game I want to see most.... so Ripon and Sierra I may have to just read about.
