Players are supposed to have plenty of time to prepare on the mound or in the batter's box. But more n more n more, we see Batters adjusting their hats....their batting gloves..... Their 137 pieces of Body Armor ......their hat again.........THEN they step into the box and then hold up a hand because the footing has to be adjusted. Nomar Garciapara used to drive me NUTS with the multiple batting glove adjustments.
MLB is losing viewers BIG TIME! I was stunned to hear last year the median age of TV viewers is pushing SIXTY! They have to do something.
Personally, I think watching a game has become painful.....and I LOVE Baseball. TOOOOO many commercials. USED to be 1-3 Pitching changes per team. Now we have Set Up guys to set up Closers....with 5 minutes of Commercials between each change.
