I think staring at a computer screen for 12-13 hours a day..

has totally jacked up my eye's ability to distinguish contrast.. I need reading glasses for just about everything, unless I can put a VERY bright light on it.. if I can do that, I can read microscopic text without readers..

Herein lies the problem with me driving at night.. Very little lighting is residential areas, so ZERO contrast, meaning I can't really distinguish a lot of stuff.. Glare is bad, as well.. the city planners here in town made a fateful decision decades ago to make the two main highways that stretch across town go EXACTLY East/West.. when driving East during sunrise, the sun is at eye level right in your grill.. Same for traveling West during sunset.. There are times I slink down in order to get the steering wheel to block the sun..

Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
