for diving, but if there's stuff to look at, at that depth, shallower dives are the BEST.. Cuz you can stay down much longer, don't generally hafta worry about decompression or embolisms (you COULD get one, but much less chance) and lighting is usually much better - but not in a lake..

I've done one lake dive in my life.. I'll never do another one unless its an EXCEPTIONAL lake with amazing visibility and stuff to look at, which is rare..

Lionfish are gorgeous.. They probably cost $400 if you were to buy one for your salt water aquarium.. Hate doing it, but with no natural predators, its absolutely necessary.. We TRIED to teach the Green Moray Eels and Snappers to hunt them, by feeding them Lionfish we stuck, but they, instead, learned that divers mean free food and would get exceptionally aggressive with divers to get that food.. Used to be they just swam around and stayed in their little holes, but now they come out and we hafta kick them away.. I did get attacked by a Green Moray Eel, but luckily he hit my camera, or I'd be missing fingers.. they can inflict SERIOUS damage..

Here's a Lionfish.. those spiny fins have stingers in them and, even when dead, they can zap the living crap out of you.. One of the dive masters touched one, stuffing it into a 5 gallon water jug and his hand was swollen for the entire time we were there..
