But yeah people only care about what works. The Rams defense was hot heading into the playoffs and dominated throughout it. How someone can say it's the scheme is beyond me. There's only two 3 options
1. It's mostly the same scheme but the offense isn't working and the pass rush isn't getting home
2. It's a different scheme than last year (it's not) but why would Morris do that? Perhaps because.... He lost his pass rush.
3. Mcvay and Morris are completely dummies who don't even know that playing soft gives up more short yardage passes.
I can tell you that I'm confident it isn't number 3.
