That is a mistake, I think. Games are not computer simulations. Players make mistakes, there is a psychological aspect. It was a great gameplan considering the hand we were dealt these last few weeks. When you're forced to change gameplans and schemes on a weekly basis due to injury and poor play, it's kind of hard to look super smart all the time. Also, it was pretty clear that the Broncos gave up before the ball was kicked to start the game.

I don't know enough about what actual gameplans are before the opening kick to know which ones were great and which ones weren't. Or what is happening in meeting rooms and at practice. No one on here knows either. Every play is designed to succeed and potentially score - in theory. But when you have a turnstile for an o-line for several games, that can't even execute simple protections, it's hard to assess the gameplan.

As I said in another thread - we had short fields, a pick 6, surprising O-line protection and a deflated opponent. That is a recipe for success, especially when you have a coach who designs lots of good gameplans on a regular basis.
