Not just the last drive, but the whole game. Made Geno Smith - a decent QB on a level with Tannehill maybe (not in skillset, but in ceiling) look like the second coming of Drew Brees - 367 yards!. I don't remember so many completions to recievers where there wasn't a defender even in the picture. Wiiidddee open. All day. What is happening on the coverages. That can't be the design, can it?
Is there miscommunication on passing coverage as recievers cross through zones? Glaring talent deficiency outside of Ramsey? A bit of both?
When you see the exact same stuff every week for 12 weeks straight, that tells me it just might be the "design".
When every QB you play regardless of experience looks like Joe Montana week after week, it just might be the "design".
So, mis communication or talent deficiency? Either way, it's on the DC to "fix" what ever the issue is, right?
If it's a "communication" thing, don't you "sit" the player(s) who are not communicating correctly?
If it's a "talent" deficiency thing, wouldn't a really good DC be able to come up with some better than a glorified Prevent Defense EVERY play in every game against every team?
Let's be honest. Our Charmin Shell isn't very hard to game plan against is it?
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
