Not every game was like yesterday. Also same design as last year. Same syterm for a few years as Youngblood has pointed out. And statistically we're a decent defense. I would say this is an issue that's popped up in a few games this year. Coverage was not bad against Chiefs and good in red zone.
I am seeing the same game plan every week against every team promo.
Do you think Belicheat has the same game plan for every team he plays? Even when his talent level has dropped? I don't. Bill designs game plans based on the players/teams he is facing.
He "plans" to take away the strengths of what the other team does best. Just like he did in the SB in '19. It's why the call him a defensive genius.
Example: Jimmie G's strength is the short quick pass. Do you think for one minute that Belicheat would just "allow" Jimmie top make those easy completions? I don't.
I don't see that with Morris. Sorry if you disagree. It's the same Charmin Shell every week no matter who we play.
The D is statically good but let's be honest, I don't think there was one single Rams fan that thought we were going to stop Shitattle on that last drive.
For me, I see a passive scheme that never really deviates from it's base much making it easier for other teams to game plan against. Why do you think every QB we play has a career day against us and looks like a sure first ballet HOF'er?
I don't like playing scared. I would rather see us "challenge" teams more with more press thrown in when they likely don't expect it. If a QB is going to beat me, I want him to work for it. No way I am just "giving away" completions like we do. If you can beat me over the top...good on you but it won't be easy.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
