2019 we went 9-7. Everything was considered a mess. The offensive line was bad. Gurley was cut. Cooks was traded. The sky was falling. We went 10-6 the next year and honestly probably would have won more if Goff hadn't coughed up at least two games. Long story short, the talent on this team is still contender-level. We need to add some pieces around them, but one bad season (and yes injuries played a major part) doesn't mean we can't compete.

Also, we were 4-12 in 2016 and went 11-5 in 2017. Turnarounds happen fast.
