I agree that, in a sense, the curtain has already closed. The Rams are one of the worst teams in the NFL this season, which is lost -- there is no way to save it. I don't share your optimism for the future. I believe the outlook for the Rams is going to be very bleak over the next few seasons (hopefully not another bad run of many seasons). They just don't have the resources to rebuild for next season.
