I saw some real promise in Coby - I was surprised. What did you see?
With corner help or maturation, I'd like to see Jalen moved back to safety. He'd offer support over the top much in the same way that Earl Thomas did for Sherman in Seattle. Sherman got criticized regularly for not staying with his man or getting beat, but Thomas was right there by design. Ramsey would be a different type of safety than Thomas, but is a punishing tackler (ask McCaffery) and would always be close to the ball. Besides he'd be a good field general. Weddle showed how valuable that can be from a safety during the Super Bowl.
Ramsey wouldn't be the first great CB to become a great safety; Aeneas Williams did it for the Cards, to name one.
HOFers Charles Woodson and Rod Woodson both did it.
