I think the new system is better for the players and I prefer to watch guys who are getting fairly compensated. However, I don't like how hard it is to keep teams together. I don't think you can cry poor, like in baseball and say 'we can't compete with the yankees'. Every team (except maybe the packers) is owned by billionaires. Billionaires. They could afford flexibility in the cap. Parity is nice and all, but teams that are run the right way from the top sometimes get punished.
