now its reaching into the college programs-at least in football and basketball. We like to call it "free enterprise" but in reality its all about money. But we are ALL responsible. Whether its buying Rams gear, season or game tickets, Direct TV, whatever we are funding a billion dollar industry. The players want more money so we get free agency. The owners want more money so we get more games and more stadiums paid by cities, counties, through our taxes. There is only one reason the NFL is looking today for other venues to display the product. More money for all the owners. That means more money for free agency players.
