But the problem isn't the defense, WR's, QB, back up QB... those are issues but almost everything is amplified by the lack of play action. Feel like I'm just on repeat.

The Rams rolled the dice with the OL... They had invested a few draft picks and years grooming and now it was time for these guys to put up or shut up. The injuries didn't help, they just made it much worse. The dice roll failed... They put their money into skill positions and impact players... not a bad risk but it just failed. Unlucky but also a bit naive, IMO Whitworth retiring probably killed them.

But the Rams would be close to the division lead right now if not for the OL injuries and not being able to run the ball. But bringing up Woods and Robinson... AD, McVay retiring... meh... I think we would have some minor concerns right now but sitting near the top of the division, I think we would have hope.

IMO they had to put faith in their plan. They had to hope Noteboom would be a suitable replacement... but he wasn't. Now the Rams have Jackson at LT? Good lord. Luckily he is overachieving, IMO. Evans? Not so much. Kolone? How bad was it that Kolone started? McVay can't run his offense and everyone suffers. And Mcvay can't run his offense because no one can run an offense under these conditions. So, IMO?, the problem the Rams are having stems from the OL and RB position (a distant second)... All of the other stuff is only a significant issue because the Rams are losing.And the reason the Rams are losing is no effective play action.
