Next play, you can see Rams D trying to communicate to each other as if they were uncertain on assignments.
So then they overcompensated and push the underneath coverage routes deeper which then Brady just threw shorter.
That 1 play in my opinion screwed up the defensive assignments in my opinion. It got the underneath to overcompensate due to them undercompensating on the 4 streak play. This then allowed Brady to throw intermediate passes inside the 40 which the Rams didn't gave up easily when they shouldn't have knowing that there is less field to cover.
If you saw that, then why didn't Morris or McVay see that there was confusion and try to correct it? That whole last drive was just awful from the coaches to the players!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
