To my eye, the "bigger" factor doesn't pass for much.
Thus far, he hasn't played bigger. However, just the body mass and length aren't expressed upon my screen.
Add to the mix, what others have said, that he hasn't used shown a next level ability to apply his tool set.
What has stuck with me is our board folks noted that he just isn't getting separation. Whether that's fact or fiction may be on the All-22 but we needed to remain competitive in the WR room and his presence hasn't been the success I'd hoped for.
Bottom line, Bobby Trees is a better football player overall. And about now that's what this team needs. Not talent, but real results.
Elevating Jacob Harris suggests that they need larger, quicker bodies, and more blocking assistance.
They also may need to shorten the route structure to offset the lack of protection being provided by a wounded offensive line.
