Couple of things. One, we have lost our starting center, our starting RG, LG and backup RG.
The Niners D is really very good. They have plus DL, the best MLB and a tough secondary.
Stafford hasn't had the time to find his targets.
He just ran the tables and came through in the fourth quarter of the SB to win the Lombardi a couple of months ago. To suggest that he, and his capable experienced backup should both sit for Perkins just makes no sense. Our OL will heal. Our O will get into a better rhythm against lesser defenses and Stafford will shine.
