OK... I've read about half the posts in this thread, glanced through the oithers. I'm not finding fault with anybody's point of view - and agree wholeheartedly that this is the best Rams board around. Period. That said, I don't read every post or follow every thread. I pick and choose. Doesn't everybody?

Some of the people that post on other boards used to be here. Did they leave when constant harangues got to be a problem or were they drummed out of the corp? Or did they go on their own accord for some other reason?

Hey - I dunno, but I don't have the time or inclination to go to those other boards for things I might find here. If 43 or anybody else wants to bring something over here, fine - and if that means JY43 straightens out what Oldnotdead is saying and that enlightens those of us who might be thinking the same thing, so muich the better.

This is a herd board, right? I've lived around wild game herds and cattle herds long enough to know that inbreeding doesn't work. You keep your familiar herd, cull as need be (thanks, Shaky) and introduce some fresh blood along the way. That keeps your herd viable and robust.

The nice thing, here, is unlike a sports bar where one loudmouth ignoramus can dominate and spoil the whole room, I can pick and choose who I listen to and converse with. I can sit in on a discussion, drop my own 2c in, ask questions, react, or quietly find another table. And it's been fun.

If we're not having fun, we're doing it wrong.
