I love Van Jefferson I was banging the drum for the Rams to draft him and would be upset to see him go. Having said that he will be way beyond full speed by the deadline and I could see the ra,s with the young guys and a possible obj return trading him but not for a pick. Either for another Von Miller type or a pass rusher that's all on a rookie deal. I have been saying this in every forum since before training camp. I'm sticking to it.
Like Greenard or Montez Sweat and a guy like Bradley Chubb should Denver be struggling lose another reciever or have someone else emerge. Van Jefferson is a 1000 yard reciever if he isn't the 3rd almost 4th option he is ascending and on a rookie deal. There would be many options there.
If the Rams could trade Robert Woods how can anyone say that Jefferson is untouchable?
Just depends on who or what Snead could extract from another team. If Rams feel that trading VJ improves the team overall they will do it.
