No trade.
1. VJ is hurt. Wouldn't get a high pick right now
2. He should be back by game 2 in a very long season
3. He is our best most experienced deep threat
Tutu and Harris aren't there yet.
4. Because we go 11 almost every snap VJ is a starter.
5. OBJ isn't a Ram. Right now he's not really a football player. We all hope he comes back healthy and re-signs with us. We have 3 experienced WRs on our squad for 3 starting positions. Can't trade one away...yet.
6. If/when OBJ is healthy and if/when he re-signs with us AND if VJ gripes about dropping to #4 AND we now can get a #3 or higher, then I could see a trade happen.
7. Our WR room has talent but after the top 3 little or no NFL experience. SKOW's last big target went through his hands and cost us a huge interception that almost cost us the SB.
Tutu never saw an official NFL pass. McCutcheon has only caught passes in fake games. Harris got hurt and saw no real PT. Trammel has shined in fake games too. Powell hasn't had a pass thrown his way in the NFL either. So, we have 3 starters and no experience behind them. Talent ? Yes. Experience? No. If we trade anyone it would be a youngster.
I can't argue with most of your reply. It's pretty much echoing what I said in my original post. But out of all the things you stated, I think it's Van Jefferson's injuries that would most likely hinder a trade if the Rams want the roster spot and feel VJ can be replaced by using a couple of other players.
