Rewarching the game I did notice a reason to be wary.

The guy was great except for 1 thing.

He couldn't seem to get open. Those Bolt DBs cleaned the refs out of yellow landry, but they covered our lads with ease. Including our Lance.

Love the guy, but would've liked to have seen him create some space.

Even when McCutcheon is not open, he’s open (if the ball is decently placed). Stafford can make those type of throws.

Having said that, McVay is gonna want his WR’s on the field to run good routes to give Stafford a good chance. Blocking is right up there, too.

McCutcheon has to be a complete WR if he wants to be #4 on this roster. I would love to have seen the kid in practices. It’s possible that he’s been doing very well in other areas during practices.

If Wolford targets an open McCutcheon Friday night then we’ll get our answer.

I’ll say this. Is there a better coaching staff and mentors like Kupp/AR for both Atwell and McCutcheon?
