That is, would he not 'eventually' be the perfect back up to Allen Robinson due to kinda the same type skill set...?
Who better to teach him on how to be like ARob than ARob?
Maybe ARob can teach him how to get a little more separation from DB's and other little tricks that can make a difference.
McCutcheon is still very raw and we are deep at WR. However, if you find a good looking young rookie that "could" be a solid starter down the road, you have to take a chance.
Deep or not, we still need to be "grooming" someone because you will need to replace somebody and a guy on a first contract would be a bargain compared to a FA WR.
It's only been one game but it was a very good one. He flashed signs of having some legit catching skills. I am pulling for this kid! I hope he continues to shine.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
