Not my place to butt in but, it was revealed that Wolford can play the same "O" gameplan as Stafford, while they change the offense to fit Perkins' abilities. That's good coaching but it means that the Wolf adapted better to what the Rams want to do on O this year, making him more valuable. Maybe that's also why Wolford worked to strengthen his arm in the offseason (Perkins have done the same, but didn't, as far as I know).

I still see both players as having a similar arm strength and accuracy wise even if the Wolf increased his arm strength. I honestly thing both players have trouble making certain throws and both will try to run when things break down.

How much more arm strength could The Wolf have added that would make that much difference?

I think the Wolf just know the O better due to experience in it but McVay must have thought Perkins could run his O too or this is no way he would have kept him on the 53 last year IMO.
