my guess is that all 32 teams have understood for a long time that they will never hit on 100% of their draft picks. or even 75%. or maybe less than 60%. in fact, they probably count on missing a data based specific % of the time given all the analytics that goes into football.
so, no, the vast majority of teams won't try to prove that they were right on their draft picks. i'm sure snead is certainly in that group. will they allow a little extra time to see if their draft picks mature? ya, probably but not long. the fo is on a performance clock just like the players so they can't wait too long.
the owners who like to meddle may step in and tamper with that but for the most part every front office and coaching staff wants to put the best 53 on the roster.
