The Rams have already leveraged some of their 2023 draft capital in various trades but they still have a 2nd, 3rd, three 6ths and a 7th. Plus they are in line for 4 comp picks (two 5ths for Williams and Corbett, a 6th for Joseph-Day, and a 7th for Obo). So 10 picks total in 2023 as things currently stand.
In 2024 the Rams have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, two 5ths, and a 6th. If Morris gets a HC gig after this season as expected the Rams will get a 3rd round comp pick in 2024 and another in 2025. Then, with all the FAs the Rams have coming up next year I figure another 4 comp picks in this draft is likely. That would be 11 picks in the 2024 draft.
Same in 2025: 11 picks projected. They have all 7 of their picks, and will likely have that other 3rd from the Morris higher and 4 comp picks for FA departures seems like business as usual for this crew.
If the Rams see an opportunity to extend their window beyond 2023 they will certainly use their draft assets to acquire additional talent and keep that train rolling.
