Thanks for posting. It's not really going out on a limb to predict that the highest of our draft picks could be the most impactful. At the draft McVay and Snead were talking about Bruss as a starting guard. Okay. Whatever. But, then, picking Evans as the main competitor to Bruss at RG was perplexing. He doesn't even mention Shelton who I would say should be the front runner. Behind him, Ancrum should be ready to step in and start. Bruss will be right there. Evans? Um, I don't know if he's going to make the team. He might because he had some success in the past at RT and might provide depth there. No biggie. I'm sure the coaches will train them every which way and start the five best ones. It was a little surprising. Another thought, it could be that Edwards moves over to RG and Shelton steps in at LG. Bruss backs up both spots. Ancrum backs up every spot besides center.
Yeah, SoCal, I would consider Evans as 4th OG, tbh. And I agree that he’s not even certain to make the 53.
