That was a good read Shecky. I appreciate your taking the time to share it.
I took a few things away from that article. One of the things is that it depends on each player's body type, the system they play in and position played.
It may be unfounded to say that smaller WR's get hurt more but I know what I see with Tutu. He appeared "shaken" after almost every hit last year.
Every hit Tutu takes will be from a guy bigger than he is. That will take it's toll.
Some smaller guys might be able to take those hits without much pain and some cannot. As of last year, Tutu clearly could not take the hits. Something needs to change.
IMO, he needs to add "extra" muscle to absorb the blows from the bigger guys. I am thinking at least another 10-15 lbs of muscle would help him tremendously. On top of that, he might need to learn the "Ike and Torry" slide before contact or scoot out of bounds style to prolong his career.
