Tutu was a very good player at Louisville and has the skill set to play in the NFL. He needs more weight and muscle but he is the same height as Deayon and not the shortest guy on the roster at 5-9 (Henderson and Powell are 5-8). What he isn't is a kick returner, never did it in college and I don't expect him to do it this season.
What he will be is a spot slot WR with good route running and great hands. Getting injured early on, last year was essentially his red shirt season and we all know McVay brings rookies along very slowly. Sure, we could have drafted Humphrey there and I think every one of us agree on that but McSnead felt this kid has special talent and he should begin to show it this year. He will make the team easily and I expect a few OMG moments from him on the field. We just need a little more patience.
