No hate here, RamBRO. I love AD as a player and teammate.

It’s just business.

Well, it seems to be business for the team and Donald. Unless you were being hyperbolic, it seems that this is a little personal for you. Can't think of any reason why you'd refer to him as being petulant, an extortionist, who needs to "man-up." You make it sound as though he's somehow Desean Jackson.

And I still haven't seen an explanation for why you're taking such a stance against Donald, while Cooper Kupp is doing the same thing. Let's face it, Stafford, Kupp, and Donald could march into Demoff's office and say, You know what, Kevin? For the betterment of the team's salary cap flexibility, I wish to cease these ongoing contract negotiations and play out my current deal.

But Stafford didn't do that. And it doesn't appear as though either Kupp or Donald are interested in doing that either. But you seem to be torqued up on AD?

On to your larger issue...

Look, the Rams organization has made it clear that they are an organization that prides itself on doing right by the players they value. But NO PLAYER should get it twisted...the team WILL say "no" to you if they don't believe that you're worth it - either financially or on the field (see Todd Gurley, Jared Goff, aforementioned DeSean Jackson). Hell, I'm fairly certain that, prior to agreeing with the Bills, Von Miller's agent reached back out to the Rams to see if they'd like to sweeten their deal enough to keep him. We all know what that answer was and why.

Demoff and Pastoors know what the team's salary cap situation better than anyone else which includes me, you, Jourdan, or even our own AlbaNY. If they didn't think that they could manage this situation, they likely would've told AD and/or Kupp...You know what guys? Come talk to us after this upcoming season. Heck, it may come to that for one...or both.

But for now, the team has engaged both. As long as things don't get out publicly, I suspect both will be back to help defend the title.
