Did you watch Kupp's interview in another thread? He understands that football is an eleven player team. Take more for yourself and the remainder of the team may suffer....and miss out on being the best TEAM.
If players get too greedy and ownership can't control their own purse, the best paid players can wallow in frustration, like Donald did in the St. Louis days. If he pushes for that and the Rams agree, then they will get what they ask for, a great player on a potentially lousy team. Dick Butkus, Khalil Mack, Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, on and on. I'm not saying those players were greedy, but they were great players stuck on bad teams for whatever reason. Donald was once in that position and he should think twice before placing himself and his team in that position again. Once his career is over, there's no going back.
