our interior line did not have a great game.
Also our TE/WRs didn't do a great job of blocking.
Rams were down to their 3rd/4th string TEs and WRs so blocking and making adjustments were probably not their forte.
When the Bengals held up the guards and the guards couldn't release... Allen was basically useless. Ended creating a 2 on 1 vs a DT leaving the LB free.
Then the LB shot the gap before the guard could release.
When Rams ran plays that allowed Allen to release early, he just whiffed on the LB block. I don't think he was expecting the LBs to be active, which makes it tougher for them to block.
Rams were better outside the tackles, but couldn't break things longer because our WR/TEs weren't winning their battles.
