Ramsey looked very ordinary all playoff long. Got toasted several times and even if it did not matter in the end but his fall down on the last Bengals offensive play in the SB could have been a killer.
Something just did not look right with Ramsey. Maybe he was not at 100% physically because on some plays the WR just flew bye him with ease.
I mentioned this idea once before, but I'll throw it out there again.
I think he was just plain tired.
He played 1037 defensive snaps (96%) and 60 special teams snaps (14%) during the regular season, I don't know how many more in the 4 playoff games.
The regular season numbers are his second most in both catagories since his rookie year. [

Why he's playing so much, or why he is on special teams at all, is a good question. Possibly our lack of depth, possibly he won't come off the field.
Throw in the AC joint injuries to both shoulders and I think the man was just stretched to his end.
As our coaches navigate the tactics of a 17 game season they're going to have to do a better job of keeping our stars fresh. I know McVay likes to ride his top players for all their worth, but in a position like CB where you're running downfield at top speed every play, he's got to think differently.
Now whether Jalen's mouth ever gets tired, that's a question for another day.
